What is conflict coaching and how does it work?
Conflict coaching is a one-one confidential conversation with the mediation coordinator about your conflict. The goal of the coaching session is to help you develop strategies to handle the conflict on your own by developing a goal-oriented game plan for moving past the conflict and teaching you key communication skills.
How long does the process take?
The process typically takes a few hour-long sessions. The length of time is variable and depends upon the needs of the person seeking coaching.
Is it really confidential?
Yes, for cases that do not involve forms of sexual violence.
